Orientation Session on collaborative platform-pbworks-13th July2015

Political Science  Class @ KHMS  goes Collaborative.
Students of class 11. politicalscience have entered into24x7 wiki classroom. On 13th July 2015 in the Mathslab an orientation session was arranged by Ms. Rashmi Kathuria  and Ms. Seema Lal for students to understand the ettiquttes and now to work on  the wiki.
Students were very exicited to be part of the wiki and were enthusiastic to share their work on the same.


Mock session -vidhan sabha debate -May 2015

 STUDENTS OF CLASS 11-POLITICAL SCIENCE  after a visit to the parliament wanted to go for a Mock session on the topic  'Should illegal colonies be regularised.'
Students were divided into the Ruling party and Opposition party and were asked to prepare a debate to held in the class on the given topic.
Class was adjusted according to the debate to be held and the teacher acted as the moderater / speaker and the debate went wonderfully.
Students got the exposure and a chance to exhibit their communicative skills. Also they in the process developed confidence and ability to express themselves. It also enhanced their knowledge and awareness about the politics and issuses that concern the society.

Visit to Parliament House-Lok Sabha session.

In the month of April 2015 students of class 11 were taken to the Parliament house to see the LOK SABHA SESSION.They were accompanied by the their Political science teachersMs. Seema Lal &Ms. Lata Kamat.

Students were very exicted to see various notable politicians and the proceedings of the Lok sabha..When we reached Sushma Swaraj was on the mike also there were other Ministers  - shri. Murli Manohar Josh , shri L.K.Advani and many more. From opposition side there was Shri Sashi Tharoor and others.
Admist tight security and abosolute silence students were very happy to be inside the Parliament.The aura and grandaure of the building left all of us amazed.
We were all given a keychain with a picture of Parliament on it.
Alas ! pictures were not allowed to be clicked  as cameras and mobiles are prohibited inside the parliament for security reasons.
